Escapee

Well Cayden escaped from his crib today. I heard his door moving and I couldn't figure out how, since the crib isn't that close to the door. I had a sneaky suspicion he had climbed out and as I went to open the door the door knob started to rattle and as I opened the door-there he stood. I didn't know if I should reprimand him or ask him to show me how he did it. I think I'll give him a thinner blanket (I think he used his comforter for extra height) and hope he doesn't do it again for awhile, I'm just not ready for that next stage yet!

Once they figure it out ... there is no stopping them. :)

I've heard that once they start climbing out of the crib, it's time for a toddler bed. That way you don't have to worry about them falling and hurting themselves. Is Cayden's crib the convertible type that goes into a toddler bed?

I'm really surprised Noah hasn't tried climbing out of his crib yet because he's such a climber on everything else!

P.S. At least you know that his head injury hasn't caused any permanent damage, since he figured out how to escape! :-)
