Father and Son "Talks"

Brandon is in the other room with Cayden and they just make me laugh. He asks Cayden questions and then answers himself as if its Cayden talking, for example:

"What kind of a dog is that Cayden?"
higher pitched voice, "yellow lab"
Brandon-"good job Cayden, should we watch the cars go buy so you can tell us what kind you want?"
higher pitched voice "hummer"
Brandon-"mommy says we cant have a hummer, bad gas mileage"
higher pitched voice "H2 or H3"
Brandon-"well thats better on gas,"
higher pitched voice-"ferrari"
Brandon-"i wish i had enough money for a ferrari buddy"...

and now Cayden is babbling higher pitched-I think he's learning from Brandon-oh boy! I have two nuts on my hands now! :)

9 Month Pictures

His 9 month pictures were so different from his 3 and 6 month ones! He was much more attentive to his surroundings and stingy with his smiles, he gave all kinds of different looks except a plain smile. I wonder what his 12 month ones will be like!

He looks like a bully, but he was really just waiving:)

The Dangers of Friends

I babysat for some friends the other day and they loved Cayden, maybe a little too much? As I was taking the first picture I realized what Cole was doing to Cayden, as you see in the 2nd picture I fixed it so my son wasn't going to be strangled, but I figured I might as well get a quick picture first:)

Another New Face

This time the face has a reason-He's getting a tooth-YEAH! He won't take after his mommy in this area (I was 17 months old before I got my first one, my mom was worried she'd have to get me baby dentures) It sure makes eating messier though.

Toy Box

Cayden loves his toy box. He learned to pull himself up on it, and as you can see, he crawls in it too:) It's just his size so he can pull his toys out as he wants them.

Uncle Cody?

Cayden sleeps like his Uncle Cody used to (or maybe still does?:) ) The times that Cayden reminds me of Cody are the times I miss him the most. (He's in Spokane, WA)

Hair-Don'ts

Brandon gave Cayden a bath and decided to have some fun with his hair. Cayden, please don't ever want to look like this! We prefer clean cut boys:)

Great Grandma Erickson

Cayden and I were up at my Grandma Ericksons the other day and she wanted to rock him, she started singing him a lullaby and he just sat there listening. It was very sweet, she is 92 years old and going strong. She is such a blessing!

New Skill

Cayden was talking away in his room the other day and I thought I'd peek in on him to see what he was doing and I found him standing up in his crib. I was so thankful we had lowered the mattress once he started crawling or he would have tumbled out! He had a lot of fun pulling himself up and then "falling" down again.

Talking/Playing

Cayden is very good about playing by himself. He likes to talk to himself too:)

Cayden enjoys the car Grandma and Grandpa Odegard got him-now. At first he was scared of it, b/c it was a remote control car. Then he pulled the cord out of it so it wouldn't go anymore and now he likes it:) (I can't find what I did with the video of the car driving toward him and him pushing it away. It's pretty funny, I'll ask Brandon what happened to it. )

Scrunchy Face

We caught this face on camera for Cayden's 9 month pictures, He really enjoys showing off! (He gets a little fussy at the end, I guess there's only so much showing off one can do:) )
