Go Vikes

Our little cheerleader
We went to Jarrod and Sarah's for the first Viking game and although they lost we had a great time eating Sarah's great food!

Brandon's Dress Job

Brandon does a great job getting Karis ready, however, I think he was preoccupied after changing her diaper this time:)
The first Sunday he dressed her for church I heard, "oh man, you've got to be kidding me, girls have socks that go on specific feet?!" (Her socks had bows on them and he put them on the inside of her feet, instead of on the outside)

Cousins

My cousin Cheree's daughter Ashley

My cousin Shelly's son Frankie

My cousin Jessie's son Riley (Also my godson)

Homeschooling

Well, our friends over in ND have started homeschooling Madison. Seeing their posts day after day has made me feel the need to teach Cayden a thing or two. Therfore we have started our version of homeschooling:
Numbers:

Subtraction:

Addition:

Letters:

Brandon decided it's never too early to start learning, here he has Karis coloring.

OK, so I'm not really homeschooling in this way, but Brandon got an iPad in one of his boxes of stuff and it has some really neat apps on it for Cayden. Cayden LOVES it and plays on it a ton. It has great eductional apps, so he has been practicing math, writing and sounding out letters. Yesterday he spelled food by spelling it out. (Kristin, I'm sure this post wasn't as exciting as you were hoping for, sorry for the wait:) )

September Karis' Pics

I don't remember where I got this dress, but it was so frilly I had to try it on her, but just couldn't have her actually wear it anywhere:)

Family Pics

When Brandon's sisters and dad came to visit, we were surprised to also get a visit from his brother. This led to impromptu family pictures.

Hairbows

There are some things you just can't do when you're little:

This is one hairbow that has to wait to be worn! :)
(My cousins and Aunt made Karis some really neat baby gifts and this was one of them, it's just not for right now. :) )

August Pictures of Karis

Relatives

When Karis was only 2 weeks old, the visitors started...and haven't stopped :) Cousins Chase and Taiven (My cousin's Josh and Riannon's boys)

Uncle Karl

Grandpa Gale

Auntie Shalina

Uncle Travis

Friend Chloe

(April, I don't have a pic of you, can you send one? You could send me all the pics, especially the baby shower ones:) )

Baby Food

My friend Sarah is super awesome and has been helping me be a "super mom." We've made green bean and carrot baby food together. My mother-in-law suggested we wash the washing machine and then use the washing machine to wash the carrots. The reason it's "super mom" is because not only did we make healthy food for our babies, but we did it with 2 toddlers running around! :)

Karis' First Bath

Karis actually handled her first bath quite well. This was obviously quite some time ago, but I'm behind, as usual, on blogging.

For Kristin

I planned on blogging more but we are now on our way out the door (blogging is never as easy as I want it to be). So for now, Kristin, here is an updated pic of Karis. Well as updated as a week ago. :)
