Cayden had his own shoes on and then put on Brandon's.

Day with (Great Grandma) Joan
I was doing a garage sale the other day and Cayden went to spend some time with Brandon's grandma Joan. For whatever reason, Cayden calls her Joan-no grandma, just Joan. Everyone else is "mamma" he can't say grandma (although my mom has tried to teach him grrr amma, it usually just sounds like he is growling "grrrrrr mamma")
Paul Bunyan Fish Fry 2009
Most kids have scrapbooks of their life's accomplishments, my son has a scrapbook of the annual Paul Bunyan Fish Fry:
1 week old: picture with the Berenstein Bears
1 year old: picture with Barney
2 years old: picture with Grover
(Cayden was afraid to go without me)

Will It Last?
So I have no idea how long this will last, but Cayden told me at lunch that he had to go potty, so we went into the bathroom and he pooped. Then while we were laying down awhile later he told me he had to go potty again, so we went in and he went pee. So I thought I'd try his Cars undies and he told me when he had to go potty and was dry the whole time until I put him to bed. I was pretty impressed.
He loves to be "Naked Boy" and run around the house naked. While he was sick, I'd let him sit in a towel for awhile, b/c I figured his poor butt was probably sore and I was thinking this would be a good way to potty train, I guess he had the same idea:)
The only problem now is that I want to go garage saleing tomorrow and I can't just have him go wherever, but if I put a diaper on him I'm afraid he wont get the idea that he's not supposed to do that anymore. How do I transition and PLEASE don't say stay home until he's trained, b/c this week of sickness was soooo long as it is!

New things
Cayden has been sick for the past week, but even when he's sick he is so cute and funny. He's been saying so much more lately and really starting to use what we say in his own way.
We were sitting at the dinner table and Cayden and Brandon were arguing about something and Brandon said, "Yes it is" and Cayden said, "No it is" He doesn't quite get the "isn't" part yet:)
I'm not exactly sure if somebody told him to count to 10 when he's angry or what, but today he was upset with me and both times he said, " ajdlljd akdkdj 9 10 11 13" (I don't know if he was counting at the first part or what, I couldn't make out what he was saying)
Also, I asked him how his nap was and he said, "pretty good"
as I write this I realize it's so basic and no big deal, but I guess that just means I'm really a mom, b/c everything new he does is amazing to me:)

Clarification
Ok, you guys all crack me up:) I'm wearing the same clothes everyday b/c it's my swimsuit and swimsuit cover up. I washed it everynight, but yes, on an all girls vacation-you practically live in your suit! I mean, what else did we have to do? :) Yes, each picture was a new book, but no I didn't really read them all. We had high hopes of reading a book every day or two, but we talked too much:) Plus with over 1,100 in miles driven to 6 different beaches in 9 days, that took some time out of our reading too.
