Pants

A little background before the story:

1. Cayden always goes to the bathroom before taking his nap and for some reason, often leaves his pants behind.

2. If I am napping in my room when Cayden wakes up, he usually quietly climbs into bed next to me.

On Sunday, Cayden was not obeying during his nap and after a few times of disobedience I told him I would spank him when he woke up (I didn't want his cries to wake up Karis). A couple of hours later, I heard him waking up and quickly closed my eyes (I had been reading a book) so that he'd think I was sleeping and would cuddle with me. He quietly went into the bathroom and a minute later was quietly leaving the bathroom and my bedroom. I said, "hey mister, where are you going, aren't you going to cuddle with mommy?" He climbed up next to me and said, "well, I was worried I was going to get a bare butt spanking, so I quietly sneaked into the bathroom, put my pants on and was going to see daddy." I had forgot all about the spanking, oh the innocence of children. It'll be such a sad day when he stops telling on himself!
