Darnin Sakes
Well it's a good thing we don't swear around here, because Cayden picks up everything. Even things I didn't think were bad to say, don't sound good when he says them, so we are watching our mouths even more. If I'm really bummed I'll say, "Darn it" or if I'm surprised I might say, "oh goodness sakes" well the other day I heard Cayden say, "Darnin sakes" when he couldn't find the pudding in the cupboard.

When I was young, my dad always told us that only God is holy, so we could never saying anything like "holy cow", "holy smokes", etc. Even to this day, I have a hard time hearing people say "holy..."
Well not so long ago I heard Madison, out of the blue, say "holy mackerel!" I asked her where she heard that and she said "Veggie Tales". So that just goes to show that even when a parent is trying to censor movies, shows, etc. to make sure our kids aren't picking up anything they shouldn't, they can even pick out the "worst" in the best shows!
