I told Cayden he had to keep peeling back the leaves until he saw the corn. So each time he peeled back a leaf (are they considered leaves?!) he's say, "I see the corn!" Then he would try to be done, even though really, we couldn't see the corn yet.
So I guess he didn't like that job. And incidentally, neither did Madison because the two older ones quit a whole lot sooner than Noah did. My boy kept at it, making his Mama proud! Of course, the older two had probably figured out that I was making them work. Outside. On a nice day. Noah just hadn't realized that yet.
