Delicious

The other night I made a new meal, Apricot Chicken (very yummy!) Brandon said it was good, but no great accolades like I was hoping for. I told Brandon I'd like a little more than "it's good" when I make a new meal and it turns out well. A few minutes later Cayden goes, "mmm mmm D-E-L-I-C-I-O-U-S mommy." I told Cayden that makes me happy that he thought it was delicious and so now at almost every snack and meal he says it's delicious and then says, "happy? make mommy happy" Yes Cayden, you make mommy very happy.

In Brandon's defense I was talking to him about all kinds of things and asking questions and he couldn't respond to my questions and give my meal great praise at the same time:)

Elmo's World

The actual song goes like this:

Lalalala lalala Elmo's World

Lalalala lalala Elmo's World

Elmo likes his goldfish

His crayons too

That's Elmo's world

Waterlemon

Dead End

One of the main roads in town is under construction, so we have to take extra roads to get to the post office. Today on our way, this was our conversation as we came upon the road block signs:

Cayden: "Oh no, now what mommy, now what?"

Me: "Now what?"

Cayden: "Now what...Dead End."

Dead End? (Where did he learn about dead ends?!)

Energy

Aww, to have the energy of a 2 year old! :)

Here you go Boppa Gale, some cute pics of me:)

"Oh No, Fix It"

The night before I had put up a few more curtains to try and get him to sleep longer :) and in the process the 3 stuffed animals he had on the curtain rod, fell on the floor. I was tired and figured it was no big deal. Cayden is very perceptive.

The next morning, Cayden waking up in his room...

"Oh No"
"Now What?"
(I walk into the room, Cayden points at the 3 stuffed animals on his floor)
"Curtains, fix it"
(So I hung up the 3 animals again)
"Thank You"
